Breathing Air Compressor 

Breathing Air compressor onboard is used for charging  SCBA bottles and Lifeboat air bottles.

Below things should be kept in mind

1. Analysis of Air quality of BA compressor should be done on Annual basis.
2. After every use of SCBA  set during drill or emergency, all SCBA bottles should be refilled.
3. Record of running hours should be posted near BA compressor. 
4. Record of Maintenance available (Can be in PMS and Hard copy).
5.  Spare should be available at all times (click here)
6. Requisitions should be raised if spares are required.

Important Notes

These points can be kept in mind 

1. Recharging \ Refilling arrangement should be checked (charging Hose, coupling etc).
2. Place where  Annual certificate is kept.
3. Annual calibration Last done \ due.
4. Spare hose \coupling kept where.
5. Any defects  (Reported to office).
6. Requisition for spares if raised.
